Hoop-a-Joop is a television series that premiered on Cartoon Network on September 11, 1999. It is created by Kevin Lordi and is a production of Stretch Films Inc, It's A Laugh Productions and Hanna Barbera.

Series PlotEdit

  • The show centers on Al Valentine. He, his younger brother Jim Valentine, his parents Amanda Valentine and Patrick Valentine and his pets Sonny and Hoop-a-Joop live at home in Lancaster. He meets many best friends like James Rogers whose pet hamster, older brother and father are Willie, Mike Rogers and Tommy Rogers, Amy Lambert whose pet cat is Basketball and Mel Blake whose pet dog, younger sister and parents are Fatty, Anna Blake, Stella Blake and Carlos Blake. He has a rivalry with Sean Jones, has a neighborhood relationship with Juanita Lopez whose brothers are Esteban and Heriberto Lopez and is enemies with The Wolfpack whose members consist of Vin Walterson, Sam Williams, Erica Roberts, Jacqueline Adair, Flan Cabot and Dark Onion. The show premiered on Kids' WB! on September 11, 1999, and then moved to Cartoon Network on September 23, 2006. It is made in squigglevision, like Ed, Edd N Eddy.
